Summer is one of the best times of the year for resale, and those sales are starting to pick up right now. Here’s our list of SKUs to stock up now in preparation for the summer to maximize your success:
Nike Air Force 1 Low Supreme – White. These are some of the hottest sneakers in resale right now. They combine an all-time great sneaker, the white Air Force 1 Low, with an all-time fashion brand, Supreme. These have been one of the top-performing sneakers recently on Copyt, and we don’t see them slowing down for a while.
Nike Air Force 1 Low Supreme – Black. For the exact same reasons above, the all-black version of the shoe will continue to thrive.
Jordan 11 Retro – DMP Gratitude. These sneakers were released in early December 2023, and have aged very well. From February to May, sales only dropped 20% when compared to December-February, the sneaker’s hottest time. These sneakers will continue to fly off the shelves and be a staple of Summer 2024.
adidas Samba OG – Cloud White Core Black. Sambas have proven to be timeless, and they are always very popular in the summer. Other colorways will also be successful, but the white Sambas are especially popular during the warmer months.
Jordan 4 Retro – Military Blue. Pretty self-explanatory, but these sneakers were released on May 4 and are the hottest out right now. Keep buying these, because they will be a top-seller of the summer.
Yeezy Slide – Dark Onyx. Summer’s here, it’s hot, free your feet. These are the 5th-best selling shoe on Copyt in the last 30 days. Stock up.
Honorable mention: Sales on the Jordan 12 Retro Cherry and the Jordan 3 Retro White Cement Reimagined are up in the last 30 days. Look out for these. Also, the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Travis Scott ‘Canary’ are coming on 5/17. Good luck getting them.
A lot of customers during the summer are not as familiar with sneakers because they just want to look good for their summer vacations and outings. That means the more “basic” pairs will go faster and at higher margins as well. Consider stocking up on the “basic” SKUs – Pandas, Triple White AF1s, Jordan 1 High Lost & Found’s, etc. The staples of the industry.
What not to stock up on
Air Jordan 4 Retro – ‘Bred Reimagined’. These shoes were on top of the game for a while, but it’s looking like their time is coming to an end. In the last 30 days, sales have gone down 25% on Copyt. You may still be able to make some good money on them, but quantity is going down.
Crocs Classic Clog – Lightning McQueen. The hype isn’t as strong for these anymore. Avoid buying a lot of these, because they may not sell as quickly or with as high of a margin as before.
Air Jordan 4 Retro – Red Cement. Sales this month are down 43% compared to last month on Copyt. Additionally, prices are almost down to retail on StockX.
